 Tomas Vokoun-G- PanthersNov. 21 - 10:18 am et
Despite Scott Clemmensen's outstanding performance against Detroit Friday night (39 saves), Tomas Vokoun will likely get the start against the Rangers Saturday.
Of course, things could change closer to game time. We would put Vokoun in the lineup and leave him there until further notice.

 Scott Clemmensen-G - Panthers Nov. 20 - 10:13 pm et

Scott Clemmensen stopped all but one in the Panthers' 2-1 overtime victory against the Red Wings Friday evening.
With the win Clemmensen improves his record to 3-1-0 on the season. Although he played a very strong game don't expect Clemmensen to get the start tomorrow night against the Rangers. Tomas Vokoun will likely get the call.

Scott Clemmensen will get the start in goal for Florida on Friday.
The Panthers play on Friday and Saturday so look for Tomas Vokoun to get the Saturday start against the Rangers while Clemmensen gets the Red Wings. Adjust your lineup accordingly.

 Scott Clemmensen-G - Panthers Nov. 9 - 9:15 am et

Scott Clemmensen is upset with how the Panthers play defensively.
"One thing we need to work on is our coverage down low and behind the net. I'm not sure how it gets so bad at times...We've got to work on things in practice. Unless we do that, so guys know what they're doing, then we're not going to get any better at it," Clemmensen said to the Miami Herald. In one conversation, Clemmensen called out all of his teammates and his coach. "If I was a goaltender who gave up 14 goals in my last three starts, I might be a little frustrated, too," coach Peter DeBoer said. Doghouse anyone?

 Scott Clemmensen-G - Panthers Nov. 8 - 7:55 am et

Scott Clemmensen has not played well for Florida in his past three starts.
He was pulled very early on Oct. 21 against Buffalo after yielding two goals on three shots. Clemmensen then allowed five goals on 37 shots in a 6-5 shootout win over Dallas on Oct. 30 and was beaten seven times on 32 shots in a 7-4 loss to Washington on Saturday. He was expected to push starter Tomas Vokoun for playing time, but is more-or-less giving away the number one job by default at this point. To make matters worse for him, Vokoun has been playing much better of late.
