 Fredrik Sjostrom-W- FlamesNov. 11 - 8:52 am et
Fredrik Sjostrom played for Calgary on Tuesday against the Canadiens.
He was questionable going into the contest after taking a Dion Phaneuf slapshot in the hand in Monday's morning skate. "I feel good, strong ..." said Sjostrom. "It's swollen little bit. Don't write too much because they'll know where to slash." He started the night on a line with Jarome Iginla and Olli Jokinen.

 Fredrik Sjostrom-W - Flames Nov. 10 - 7:52 am et

Fredrik Sjostrom is questionable for Tuesday's contest after being hit in the right hand by a Dion Phaneuf slapshot in Monday's morning skate.
He had been playing on the Flames' top line with Jarome Iginla and Olli Jokinen. We will try to update his status prior to puck drop.

 David Moss-W - Flames Oct. 25 - 3:13 am et

David Moss returned to action on Saturday.
Moss has been sidelined since October 8 with an upper body injury and a foot injury. He scored a goal in his return and now has three goals and no assists in five games. He played on the third line with Olli Jokinen and Fredrik Sjostrom.
 Fredrik Sjostrom-W - Flames Oct. 22 - 5:32 am et

Fredrik Sjostrom is making the most of his time on the top line.
Sjostrom potted his first goal of the season on Tuesday. He has played on all lines with the exception of the second thus far this season. "I feel that whoever I'm going with, just enjoy it. It's fun," Sjostrom said. "Everyone is here for a reason - they're a good hockey player. If you play with anybody here, it's going to be good. It's not much, the difference between a fourth-liner and a first-liner." We think that it is probably a lot easier to get an assist passing to Jarome Iginla rather than Brandon Prust, but if that is what Sjostrom thinks, so be it. Sjostrom has some fantasy value playing with Iginla at this time, so take advantage of it, if you can.

 Olli Jokinen-C - Flames Oct. 15 - 2:29 pm et

The Flames have split up Olli Jokinen and Jarome Iginla.
The two struggled to find chemistry when Jokinen was acquired at the trade deadline last season. Both have four points through seven games this season. Iginla will play with Craig Conroy and Curtis Glencross while Jokinen will play with Eric Nystrom and Freddie Sjostrom.

 Jarome Iginla-W - Flames Oct. 14 - 6:14 am et

Jarome Iginla was reunited with center Daymond Langkow during Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Blue Jackets.
Winger Fredrik Sjostrom rounded out the unit as coach Brent Sutter tinkered with his combinations looking for a spark. Olli Jokinen and Iginla have not performed like they did in the preseason and changes needed to be made to shake them out of their respective funks. Iginla led all forwards with 20:12 of ice time against Columbus, but failed to register a point and ended up with just one shot on goal.
