Tyler Arnason will probably begin the season in the AHL.
Arnason has a shot at making the Rangers' opening day roster, but even then he's only expected to play on the fourth line. Arnason faces an uphill battle if he wants to revive his NHL career and he isn't likely to have any fantasy value in the near future.

The New York Rangers have signed Tyler Arnason to a two-way contract.
Arnason had a disappointing season with the Colorado Avalanche in 2008-09, scoring just five goals and registering 17 assists in 71 games. Maybe the change of scenery will help him bounce back, but we wouldn't count on him having much fantasy value.

The Avalanche will not offer a new contract to Tyler Arnason.
He will permitted to test the waters as an unrestricted free agent on Wednesday. Arnason recorded just five goals and 22 points in 71 contests with Colorado this past season.

Tyler Arnason collected three assists in Colorado's 5-1 win against Chicago.
Arnason is having an abysmal year with just five goals and 17 assists. He should not be on any one's fantasy radar at this time. Ryan Smyth and Marek Svatos registered a goal and a helper apiece, while Milan Hejduk, Ben Guite and Chris Stewart also found the back of the net in the win.

Tyler Arnason was a healthy scratch on Tuesday.
Arnason is having an awful year with only five goals and 19 points in 58 games this season. The strange thing is that he has scored twice in his last five. He was scratched when Paul Stastny returned to the Avs lineup after missing almost two months with a fractured forearm.

Ryan Smyth registered three points in a 4-1 victory over Washington.
Smyth opened up the scoring and assisted on Adam Foote's game winner and Wojtek Wolski's goal. Smyth now has 20 goals to his credit. Tyler Arnason also bulged the twine.
