The Columbus Chamber is stating that the Blue Jackets could leave the city because of mounting losses.
The Chamber states that the Blue Jackets are losing about $12 million per year. A deal to keep the Blue Jackets in Columbus will require public money. "We believe there is a sense of urgency here," said Ty D. Marsh, Chamber president and CEO. "We're looking for a solution or progress by the end of the year." Is Columbus going to become the next Phoenix. Only time will tell.

 Rick Nash-W - Blue Jackets Oct. 30 - 10:20 pm et

Rick Nash potted two goals in Columbus' 4-3 shootout loss to the Penguins Friday night.
The two goals give Nash eight on the year. Antoine Vermette had two helpers on the night. Derek Dorsett was the other Jackets goal scorer.
 Kristian Huselius-W - Blue Jackets Oct. 29 - 7:34 am et

Kristian Huselius is not playing well despite his five goals and nine points in the early going.
Coach Ken Hitchcock is not pleased with the play of his top forwards including Huselius, Rick Nash, R.J. Umberger and Antoine Vermette. "The last couple of games we haven't played well, and we know we have to get better," Huselius said. "The whole team is in a slump right now." The Blue Jackets also have Derick Brassard and Jakub Voracek as their top six forwards, with Nikita Filatov biting at the bit to get to the top-six. The Blue Jackets do have a lot of offensive potential, and should start showing it off soon.
