 Steve Eminger-D - Ducks Dec. 18 - 7:30 am et

Steve Eminger has been a healthy scratch for the last eight games.
Eminger's spot on the Ducks blueline has been taken by Sheldon Brookbank and Brookbank has played well enough to hold onto it. Neither player has any fantasy value.

 Sheldon Brookbank-D - Ducks Dec. 9 - 7:29 am et

Sheldon Brookbank has been seeing much more playing time than Steve Eminger on the Anaheim blueline lately.
Eminger has not dressed since Dec. 1, while Brookbank has skated in the last four games in his place. "I just think that Brookbank has been an honest everyday soldier for our hockey club," coach Randy Carlyle said. "He's earned the respect of his teammates and the coaching staff for his work ethic when he wasn't playing and how much of a team guy he was. He earned an opportunity. In the other situation with Eminger, his game wasn't coming around and he was very sporadic." Neither player has much fantasy value though.

 Steve Eminger-D - Ducks Nov. 22 - 1:54 am et

Steve Eminger returned to action on Saturday against the Sharks in a 3-2 loss for Anaheim.
Eminger missed Thursday's game due to back spasms, but was alright to dress again on the weekend. He skated for just over 15 minutes of ice time and posted a minus-1 rating, with three shots on goal, in a 3-2 loss for the Ducks. He has just one assist this season in 19 games and should not be on your fantasy radar.
 James Wisniewski-D - Ducks Nov. 21 - 5:38 am et

James Wisniewski (bruised foot) and Steve Eminger (back spasms) sat out practice on Friday.
The Ducks had only five healthy defensemen at practice so if both are unable to go, they will likely have to recall a blueliner from the minors. Brett Festerling is the probable candidate. Wisniewski and Eminger will see how they feel at the morning skate on Saturday to determine their availability later that evening against the Sharks.

 Steve Eminger-D - Ducks Nov. 20 - 5:11 am et

Steve Eminger missed Thursday's game with back spasms.
Eminger has only one assist in 18 games with the Ducks this season, so this news shouldn't hurt your fantasy team as Eminger isn't fantasy worthy. Consider the defenseman day-to-day for now.
