Alex Ovechkin scored his 36th goal of the season Tuesday night as Washington beat Boston 4-1.
The Caps were led by a strong offense yet again, getting goals from Mike Knuble, Brooks Laich, and Boyd Gordon. Tom Poti recorded two assists. The Capitals are now on an 11-game win streak.

Nicklas Backstrom had a three point game as Washington trounced the Senators 5-2 Thursday night.
Backstrom had two goals and an assist. Alex Ovechkin chipped in with a goal and an assist. The other goals were scored by Boyd Gordon and Mike Knuble.

Boyd Gordon returned to action on Monday.
He's been out since November 14 with a back injury. Gordon was held pointless in 8:43 of ice time.

Gordon has been sidelined since Nov. 14 with a strained back and he has appeared in only seven games this season for the Capitals.
