Niklas Hagman had a goal and an assist in the Flames 3-2 loss to the Ottawa Senators Tuesday night.
Hagman now has three points in five games since being traded from the Toronto Maple Leafs. Matt Stajan had a goal and an assist, and Jarome Iginla also had two helpers for the Flames.

Matt Stajan is starting to click with Jarome Iginla on the Flames top line.
Stajan was traded from Toronto earlier in the week and immediately placed on the Flames top line with Niklas Hagman and Iginla. "I'm looking to pass the puck," Stajan said. "That's my first option. Complement the other guys. With players like Haggy and Jarome, you just want to get them the puck. I'll get some goals, driving to the net. But first and foremost, I want the puck on one of their sticks. With either one of those guys, that's a pretty good place for it." Stajan got the winner on Wednesday on a nice feed from Iginla, but look for things to go the other way the rest of the season as Iginla will start sniping some goals with Stajan feeding him.

Curtis Glencross netted a hat-trick in the Flames 4-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes Wednesday night.
Newly acquired Matt Stajan also scored for Calgary.

Matt Stajan is projected to play on Calgary's top line with Jarome Iginla and Dustin Boyd on Monday.
Stajan is already on pace to surpass his previous career-high of 55 points in a single season and this move could push his fantasy value even higher. If he develops some on-ice chemistry with Iginla he could finish the season with about 65 points. Playing on the Flames top line could also boost his plus/minus rating, which currently sits at minus-three.

Matt Stajan might get a chance to play on a line with Jarome Iginla.
This is a situation that's worth keeping a close eye on. Stajan is already having one of the best seasons of his career with 16 goals and 41 points in 55 games. Playing on a line with Jarome Iginla would solidify his current pace and could even result in a sharp increase in his production. Stay tuned.

Matt Stajan was dealt to the Flames in the deal for Dion Phaneuf.
Stajan has 16 goals and 41 points in 55 games this season. If he gets to play with Jarome Iginla, his fantasy value could skyrocket.
