 Ruslan Fedotenko-W- PenguinsNov. 16 - 11:31 am et
Ruslan Fedotenko is playing on the top line with Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin.
Coach Dan Bylsma loaded up Pittsburgh's top line Saturday in an effort to boost offense and because the team is struggling through numerous injuries. It worked. Crosby and Malkin had three points each while Fedotenko chipped in with two assists. Fedotenko's fantasy value increases significantly so long as this unit remains together.

Sidney Crosby snapped a five-game pointless drought with an assist in the Penguins' 4-1 loss to New Jersey on Thursday.
Chris Bourque also drew an assist on Ruslan Fedotenko's fourth goal of the season. The Penguins are slumping horribly right now with four straight losses.

NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman met with KHL President Alex Medvedev Wednesday night.
The NHL and KHL's relationship has been tense at best, but Bettman described the meeting as being "cordial and constructive." At the top of the NHL's agenda is getting the KHL to agree to a transfer agreement, which would prevent KHL teams from snatching players that are still under NHL contracts. "The fact is, we do respect contracts and have consistently," Bettman said, "and the KHL has not." The two leagues have not set any sort of timeline for further discussions, it does sound like the two leagues will continue to search for some common ground.

Sidney Crosby appears as though he will have new linemates on Tuesday night in Boston.
He skated with Ruslan Fedotenko and Matt Cooke at practice on Tuesday morning, while his usual wingers, Chris Kunitz and Bill Guerin, were centered by Jordan Staal. Crosby has been in a bit of a funk of late, going pointless in his past four games, so the move is probably being made to shake things up.

Sidney Crosby has gone four games without a point for Pittsburgh.
The Penguins have lost their past two games and their usually excellent power play has failed to click as well. They went 0-for-4 in Saturday's 5-0 loss to San Jose and have posted a troubling mark of 0-for-21 in the last five contests. Crosby has 16 points in 17 games, but he needs to breathe some life into this team especially when they have the man advantage.
