Callahan's goal was his fourth of the season. He hadn't recorded a point since November 5th against the Edmonton Oilers. Artem Anisimov and Marc Stall had the helpers on the third period goal.
 Dane Byers-W - Rangers Oct. 30 - 11:01 pm et

Dane Byers had a goal in the Rangers 3-2 loss to the Wild Friday night.
This was Byers second career NHL game and scored his first career goal. He also had two penatly minutes and three shots on net in just over nine minutes of ice time. Marc Staal was the other goal scorer for the Rangers.
 Marc Staal-D - Rangers Oct. 3 - 9:33 am et

Marc Staal played the point on one of the Rangers' power-play units alongside Matt Gilroy Friday night.
The other unit featured Michael Del Zotto and Ales Kotalik on the points. It seems that coach John Tortorella wants to give Staal a chance to expand his role with the team. "We need to get offense out of Staal", said Tortorella. "I want to use him back there (on the power-play point) to get that out of him". It's early, but Staal may be worth picking up if Torts sticks to his plan.
