The Washington Capitals have returned Keith Aucoin back to the minors.
He was recalled on Wednesday when Matt Bradley missed the game because he became a new father.

Keith Aucoin was called up from the minors on Wednesday.
He was held pointless in 10:47 of ice time. Aucoin has one goal and five points in eight NHL games this season, but can't seem to stick around. The veteran minor leaguer has nine goals and 24 points in 19 games with Hershey of the AHL and is simply too good for that league. Even though he's produced at the big league level, he may always be the odd guy out.

Washington has sent Keith Aucoin down to the minors.
Aucoin scored one goal and five points in eight games with the Capitals. We wouldn't be surprised if he ends up back on Washington's roster before the season is over.

The Washington Capitals have recalled Alexandre Giroux and Keith Aucoin from the minors.
The duo should see action on Thursday as the Capitals play Atlanta. Neither have any fantasy value.
 Boyd Gordon-W - Capitals Oct. 17 - 12:23 pm et  

Boyd Gordon will miss Saturday's game against the Predators due to continuing back spasms.
He was placed on injured reserve and should be considered day-to-day after Saturday. Keith Aucoin will continue to play in his place.

The Capitals recalled Keith Aucoin from their minor league affiliate.
He is likely just insurance if Boyd Gordon can't go. Gordon missed practice on Tuesday due to a bad back, but was on the ice both Wednesday and Thursday.
