Henrik Lundqvist (undisclosed) would like to return to practice on Wednesday.
The Bergen Record writer Andrew Gross also said on twitter that Lundqvist thinks he might be able to play on Thursday. Lundqvist said he's being bothered by a groin or thigh injury, but he's reluctant to provide too many details because coach John Tortorella would rather his players not discuss their injury status. Tortorella said Lundqvist wouldn't play on October 7th because he thought the netminder needed some rest. However, Lundqvist admitted that he's was battling a minor injury, which may have upset Tortorella. Either way, consider Lundqvist questionable for Thursday's game.
