 Kyle Quincey-D - Avalanche Oct. 15 - 4:25 am et

Kyle Quincey is a big reason why the Colorado Avalanche are leading the NHL in power play goals in the early going.
The Avs have ten goals in six games with the man-advantage and newcomer Quincey is the major reason why. He is quarterbacking the first unit and the former Los Angeles King and Detroit Red Wing has a goal and three assists thus far with the man-advantage in addition to two assists at even strength. If he is available on your waiver wire, grab him now!

 Marek Svatos-W - Avalanche Oct. 9 - 12:25 am et

Marek Svatos scored in a losing effort on Thursday night as the Avalanche dropped a 3-2 decision to the Predators.
Svatos' goal came on the man advantage. Kyle Quincey scored a power play goal of his own. "When you have a 2-1 lead on the road in the third period ... that's a hard one to swallow," Colorado coach Joe Sacco said.

 Kyle Quincey-D - Avalanche Sep. 21 - 8:06 am et

Kyle Quincey had an impressive debut for the Avalanche in preseason action on Sunday.
He helped set up Milan Hejduk's game-winning goal in overtime for a 2-1 victory and dished out plenty of hits over nearly 20 minutes of ice time. Quincey is a good puck-moving defender who scored 38 points in 72 games for the Kings last season. He had off-season back surgery but felt good on the ice. Quincey should get plenty of opportunities on the Colorado power play this season and should make for a solid depth defenseman in your hockey pool.

 Kyle Quincey-D - Avalanche Jul. 3 - 11:43 pm et

The Colorado Avalanche acquired Kyle Quincey from the Los Angeles Kings.
Quincey broke out in 2008-09, scoring four goals and 38 points in 72 games. He's a solid offensive defenseman and is especially effective while playing with the man advantage. That's good news for the Avalanche, who had the 25th ranked power play in 2008-09.

Kyle Quincey will undergo surgery to repair a herniated disc on Wednesday.
With just six games remaining, he is likely done for the season. Quincey had 38 points and minus-5 rating in 72 games with Los Angeles this year.
