Kessel picked up his fifth goal in seven games this year. He also picked up a plus one rating, with seven shots on goal in the loss. Toronto also got a goal from Niklas Hagman.

Toronto was unable to pick their second win at home Saturday as the Calgary Flames defeated the Maple Leafs 5-2.
Francois Beauchemin scored and assisted on Matt Stajan's second period goal in the loss in addition to a five minute major for fighting. He fantasy evening wasn't all good as he was also minus-three on the night. Phil Kessel picked up an assist in the win. Toronto once again gave up the first two goals of the game for the ninth time in their 18 contests.

Phil Kessel scored both Toronto goals in the Maple Leafs' 3-2 loss to the Blackhawks Friday night.
Kessel, who now has four goals in only five games this season, has been very impressive since returning from shoulder surgery. Matt Stajan also had a multi- point night registering assists on both of Kessel's goals.

Tomas Kaberle notched two assists in the Maple Leafs' 5-2 loss to the Wild Tuesday night.
Kaberle, who played a strong game, was able to hit Phil Kessel and Alexei Ponikarovsky with key passes that led to Toronto goals. Ian White and Jeff Finger both picked up assists in the loss. Kaberle continues to be a solid defenseman play, now with 20 points on the season.

Phil Kessel potted his first goal in Toronto's 5-1 win over the Red Wings Saturday.
Kessel also added an assist in the win. Jeff Finger and Wayne Primeau scored their first goals of the season as well. John Mitchell and Alexei Ponikarovsky had Toronto's other markers. Colton Orr added an assist in the win, recording his first point as a Maple Leaf.

The line of John Mitchell, Phil Kessel and Jason Blake looked very good against the Hurricanes on Friday.
The trio combined for four points in the Leafs' 3-2 win. If Mitchell can keep a first-line job alongside the shoot first, ask questions later Blake and Kessel, he could pile up some assists. Keep him in mind if you need to make a pick up.
