Nicklas Bergfors made his Thrasher debut against the Capitals Friday night.
The good news is that he took Ilya Kovalchuk's place on a line with Nik Antropov and Bryan Little. The bad news is that despite four shots on goal, he didn't do much with his 12:53 of ice time. Bergfors also did not skate on the Atlanta power play. Although in theory his fantasy value may have improved as a result of the trade, we don't believe it will translate into much success this season.

Bryan Little scored twice Saturday, but is still mired in a horrible season.
Little has eight goals and 22 points in 51 games. He had 31 goals and 51 points in 79 games last year and looked like he could push for 40 goals in the near future. Chalk this season up to a learning year and look for a return to form next season.

Bryan Little scored twice however Atlanta fell to Nashville 4-3 Saturday night.
Little potted his 7th and 8th goals of the season. Chris Thorburn also scored for the Thrashers.
 Maxim Afinogenov-W - Thrashers Dec. 23 - 9:47 pm et  

Maxim Afinogenov scored once and assisted on two in the Thrashers' 6-4 loss to the Bruins Wednesday.
Ilya Kovalchuk also had a good games collecting two points, with one goal and one assist. Evander Kane and Bryan Little were the other Atlanta goal scorers.

Bryan Little was promoted to the top line Saturday.
Coach John Anderson shuffled his lines to try to break their slump. Little played with Ilya Kovalchuk and Nik Antropov while the second line consisted of Slava Kozlov, Rich Peverley and Max Afinogenov. Todd White played with Evander Kane and Colby Armstrong while Eric Boulton, Marty Reasoner and Chris Thorburn played on the fourth unit.

Bryan Little returned to action on Thursday.
Little missed the previous two games with a groin injury. He was held pointless in 15:23 of ice time.
