Sanguinetti was recalled to replace the punished Wade Redden, who was made a healthy scratch Thursday. He had zero points in two games on his most recent recall.

Bob Sanguinetti will replace Wade Redden on the Rangers blueline on Thursday.
Redden is a healthy scratch so Sanguinetti will get a chance to play some real minutes for the Rangers on Thursday. He is a good prospect but don't look for him to have fantasy value this season.

The New York Rangers have called up Bob Sanguinetti from AHL Hartford.
Sanguinetti has no points in three NHL games in 2009-10. He's a good prospect, but he probably won't have much fantasy value this season.

Bob Sanguinetti has been sent down to the minors.
Sanguinetti has no points and a minus-one plus/minus rating in three games with the New York Rangers. He's one of the Rangers' better blueline prospects, but he isn't likely to be a fantasy contributor this season.

The Rangers recalled Bobby Sanguinetti from their minor league affiliate.
Wade Redden was hit hard Wednesday, so they may have Sanguinetti up just in case he can't play. Sanguinetti is tearing up the minors with 17 points in 23 games - leading the entire league in scoring for defensemen.
