 Miikka Kiprusoff-G- FlamesNov. 20 - 12:12 am et
Mikka Kiprusoff was pummeled for six goals in the Flames 7-1 embarrassment at the hands of the Blackhawks.
Kipprusoff was dreadful stopping only 18 of 24 shots, and had to be replaced Curtis McElhinney. While this is a low blow for fantasy owners, Kipper is an elite tender and should bounce back. Don’t be surprised if he gets a rest in the immediate future.

Coach Brent Sutter said he expects backup goalie Curtis McElhinney to get a start soon, but he was non-committal as to when.
"I'm going to take it game to game, see how (tonight's) game goes and decision made after that," said the Flames' bench boss. Calgary plays in Buffalo on Friday night before traveling to Toronto to take on the Maple Leafs on Saturday. Stay tuned as starter Miikka Kiprusoff may be getting a night off.

 Miikka Kiprusoff-G - Flames Nov. 5 - 5:50 am et

The Calgary Flames goaltending is up in the air on Thursday due to the illness to Miikka Kiprusoff.
Curtis McElhinney was outstanding on Wednesday as he stopped 38 of 40 shots, so if Kiprusoff is stil unable to play, the Flames will have no problem putting McElhinney back between the pipes. "If he can't play, we'll go back with Mac," coach Brent Sutter said of Kiprusoff. "If Kipper's good to go, we'll go with Kipper." There you have it. Stay tuned.

 Curtis McElhinney-G - Flames Nov. 4 - 11:17 pm et

Curtis McElhinney earned his first victory of the season with a 3-2 decision over Dallas Wednesday night.
McElhinney turned aside 38 of the 40 shots he faced. His record improves to 1-2 on the year. While it was a good performance, don't bother picking him up in any pool.
 Curtis McElhinney-G - Flames Nov. 4 - 2:54 pm et

Curtis McElhinney is the probable starter for Wednesday's game against Dallas.
Kiprusoff is under the weather, so McElhinney will probably play in his second game of the season. McElhinney allowed four goals on 29 shots in a 5-2 loss to Dallas on October 9th.
