Ryan Callahan picked up a goal and an assist in Saturday night's big 3-1 win over the Devils.
Callahan's two points now give him 32 in 59 contests. It's the second consecutive two-point effort for the Rochester native. Callahan might be a great late-season pickup as in the last three contests, he's spent 55.3 percent of his overall shifts alongside Olli Jokinen. Generally speaking, playing alongside a star caliber player usually equates to more points, so definitely expect Callahan to surpass his current career-high of 40 points by the end of the season. Marian Gaborik and Chris Drury also scored for the Rangers.

Ryan Callahan scored the Rangers' only goal in a 5-1 loss to Carolina Wednesday night.
Offensive consistency has been the Rangers’ biggest problem this season, and it continued tonight at home versus the last place Hurricanes. New York has scored just three goals over its past four games, including back-to-back shutout losses to Philadelphia and Montreal last week. Callahan’s goal snapped a three-game pointless streak, giving the winger 13 markers this season.

Sean Avery might play on the second line Monday.
The Rangers have been shutout in back-to-back games, so it makes sense that they would want to mix up their lines. Look for Avery to play alongside Chris Drury and Ryan Callahan.

Ryan Callahan collected two goals and two assists in a 6-2 win over Montreal.
Brandon Dubinsky had two goals and one assist while Marian Gaborik had one goal and two assists. Chris Drury had the final Ranger goal and also added an assist.

Brandon Dubinsky had both of the Rangers markers as they fell to the Islanders 3-2 in overtime Saturday night.
Dubinsky's goals were his fifth and sixth of the season. Michal Rozsival had two assists in the loss. Chris Drury and Ryan Callahan also picked up assists.

Ryan Callahan netted two goals and the Rangers jumped on the Islanders 5-2 Thursday night.
