The Rangers assigned P.A. Parenteau to the minor league affiliate.
The move comes with the team expecting Brandon Dubinsky to return to the lineup Monday. Parenteau has one goal and four points in 14 games with the Rangers this season.

Chris Drury and Sean Avery assisted on Gaborik's goal. Pierre Parenteau netted the game-winner in the shootout.

Parenteau was recently recalled and struck deep into the shootout. Vaclav Prospal had the regulation goal for the Rangers, which was a short-handed marker assisted by Marian Gaborik.

The Rangers recalled Pierre Parenteau from the minors Friday.
Parenteau is tearing up the AHL with 10 goals and 20 points in just 13 games. With injuries to top-nine forwards Chris Drury and Brandon Dubinsky, Parenteau may get a shot to play with some offensive guys - if coach John Tortorella doesn't just stick him on the bench for 55 minutes of the game.
