 Steve Mason-G - Blue Jackets Feb. 7 - 12:05 am et

Steve Mason picked up his third shutout of the season as the Blue Jackets blanked the Sabres 4-0 on Saturday night.
Mason stopped all 28 shots that he faced in tonight's contest to improve to 15-18-6 on the season. The Jackets are now 2-0 since former coach Ken Hitchcock was fired and Mason seems to be the player that has benefited the most from the change. He's now 2-0 with a 0.50 GAA along with a .980 save percentage in his last two starts. The true test will come Wednesday night against the Sharks.

Steve Mason will get the start in goal for Columbus on Saturday.
Mason could be ready to return to last season's form, with the firing of coach Ken Hitchcock. If Mason is available in your pool, he could be a nice pickup the rest of the way. Mason has had a terrible season with a 14-18-6 record, a 3.22 GAA and a .891 save percentage. He has not been worth anything fantasy-wise up until now, but could surprise the rest of the way.

 Steve Mason-G - Blue Jackets Feb. 4 - 9:30 pm et

Steve Mason turned aside 22 of 23 Stars' shots in Columbus' 2-1 win Thursday night.
Mason was just 47 seconds away from his third shutout of the season when Steve Ott scored for Dallas to break the clean sheet. The sophomore goaltender has struggled this season, just one year removed from a 33-win rookie campaign. Mason improves to 14-18-6.

Steve Mason is projected to play between the pipes on Thursday.
New Blue Jackets coach Claude Noel is being secretive when it comes to what changes he might make to the team's lines and defensive pairings. However, Mason was the first goaltender off the ice this morning, which is usually a good indication of who will start in that nights game. So Noel may be holding a lot of cards close to his chest, but at least we have a good idea of who will be in goal.

 Mathieu Garon-G - Blue Jackets Feb. 2 - 11:44 pm et

Mattieu Garon allowed five goals on 26 shots in Columbus' 5-1 loss to the Colorado Avalanche Tuesday night.
Garon has been the lesser of two evils in goal for the Jackets, posting better numbers than the sophomore bust Calder winner Steve Mason.
