Logan Couture has been recalled by the San Jose Sharks.
Couture played 11 games with the Sharks earlier in the season, scoring once and assisting on another. The ninth overall pick in the 2007 Entry Draft was recalled for his speed. He'll likely play on the fourth line with Torrey Mitchell and Jody Shelley.

Logan Couture has been sent down to AHL Worcester.
Couture had a goal and two points in 11 games with the Sharks. He was selected with the ninth overall pick in the 2007 NHL entry draft.

He did not travel with the team to Anaheim for Saturday's contest with the Ducks. Consider him day-to-day for the time being.

Ryan Vesce has been called up from the minors.
He will play on Saturday night in Anaheim in place of Logan Couture, who stayed in San Jose due to the flu. Vesce has registered four points in six games for the Sharks this campaign.

He was sent back down on Monday, but was recalled promptly on Tuesday when it was learned that Devin Setoguchi (leg) and Brad Staubitz (face) are out with injuries.
