Jonathan Ericsson (flu) and Brian Rafalski were both back on the ice at practice on Wednesday.
Both missed Tuesday's game with the flu. Rafalski looks to be healthier than Ericsson and is probable for Thursday's game. "(Wednesday) was tough," Ericsson said. "I hadn't been on the ice in four days. It felt like the air tank was pretty low; hard to breathe. Hopefully it'll be better." If Ericsson is unable to go, Derek Meech will draw into the lineup.

Jonathan Ericsson (flu) did not skate on Monday at practice.
He sat out Saturday's game against Calgary due to the illness and now defensemen Brian Rafalski and Niklas Kronwall were absent from practice as well. "As soon as we were in Edmonton, we knew we were in trouble," coach Mike Babcock said. "Their whole team was sick so we weren't surprised that we ended up with some sick guys. Ideally we'll have all hands on deck for (Tuesday). We'll just find out." Stay tuned.
