 Jonas Hiller-G- DucksNov. 20 - 1:04 am et
Jonas Hiller kicked aside 21 of 24 shots leading the Ducks to a 4-3 victory over the Lighting Thursday night.
The merry-go-round in net continues in Anaheim. Hiller will have to string together a consistent run before he can be trotted out there nightly with confidence.

 Jean-Sebastien Giguere-G - Ducks Nov. 19 - 7:25 am et

Jean-Sebastien Giguere says it is up to himself and/or Jonas Hiller to get the Ducks out of their slump.
"There's no doubt in my mind that, altogether, if the team wants to move forward, goaltending is going to have to be better," Giguere said. "Try to give the team a chance to win every night. We know that as a goalie tandem. We're aware of it. We want to do better." The Ducks have allowed 67 goals in only 19 games thus far and are sitting 28th in a 30 team league. It is very hard to recommend either Duck netminder at this time in fantasy pools.

 Jonas Hiller-G - Ducks Nov. 14 - 9:48 pm et

Jonas Hiller was poor in the Ducks' 7-4 loss to the Wings Saturday night.
Hiller faced 36 shots on the night, only managing to stop 30 of those. He has been given the chance to play every game but has been inconsistent to say the least.
 Jonas Hiller-G - Ducks Nov. 11 - 9:25 pm et

Jonas Hiller stopped 22 of 25 shots in a 3-1 loss Wednesday.
This game brought Hiller's modest two-game winning streak to an end and brought his record down to 6-6-1 this season. Anaheim has been one of the NHL's worst teams so far this season, but Hiller has been doing his part. His job as the team's starting goaltender seems secure, and Anaheim would probably like to trade away Jean-Sebastien Giguere to free up some cap space.
 Jean-Sebastien Giguere-G - Ducks Nov. 10 - 6:00 pm et

Jean-Sebastien Giguere does not want to be the Ducks' backup goalie.
"I'd rather retire than be a backup goalie," Giguere told the L.A. Daily News. "Something needs to happen. You get a guy like (Jonas Hiller) that's going to be a free agent at the end of the year and myself, making the money I'm making, either I'm leaving or he's leaving. I want to play; that's when I have fun. Right now, this is not fun." The Giguere trade rumors were already circulating, but these comments will only intensify the talk.

 Jean-Sebastien Giguere-G - Ducks Nov. 10 - 7:39 am et

Jean-Sebastien Giguere will return to serving as Jonas Hiller's backup in Anaheim for the team's current four-game road trip.
Giguere had been out action with a nagging groin injury, but appears to be fully recovered now. He should some action this week, as the Ducks play four times in the next six days. They play in a back-to-back situation on Friday and Saturday and coach Randy Carlyle said the team would examine what to do after Wednesday's game in New Jersey.
