 Torrey Mitchell-C - Sharks Jan. 1 - 9:22 am et

Torrey Mitchell is finally getting comfortable playing hockey after missing 108 games in the last season-and-a-half.
Mitchell has played the last 15 games in a row for the Sharks and actually saw some action with Joe Thornton and Patrick Marleau on the top line on Thursday. "We're 15 games in, and I'm feeling a lot better than I did five games in," Mitchell said. "Hopefully, if I continue to do that, I'll continue to gain (coach) Todd's (McLellan) trust. I'm an energy player. Scoring goals is obviously a big boost, but so is a big hit, a big forecheck." Mitchell would gain a lot of fantasy value on the Thornton line but look for Dany Heatley to reappear quickly.

 Devin Setoguchi-W - Sharks Nov. 29 - 6:07 pm et

Devin Setoguchi will return to the lineup Sunday night, according to coach Todd McLellan.
He'll be eased back into the lineup and play on the fourth line with Torrey Mitchell and Frazer McLaren. McLellan said that he wants Setoguchi to work his way back up the lineup, so it may be a few games before he's back on a scoring line, which means you may want to wait a bit before activating him.

 Devin Setoguchi-W - Sharks Nov. 29 - 9:21 am et

Devin Setoguchi should be ready to return to the San Jose lineup from a leg injury on Sunday night.
He has missed the past four games and an official decision has not been made yet if he will dress against Vancouver. However, coach Todd McLellan believes Setoguchi will be fine to play and the Sharks have sent down Benn Ferriero to free up a roster spot for him. If he suits up, he is expected to skate alongside his roommate Torrey Mitchell in the contest.

Look for Torrey Mitchell to make his season debut for San Jose on Friday.
Mitchell has not played a regular season game for San Jose since the end of the 2007-08 season although the oft-injured forward did play in the playoffs last season after missing the whole year with a broken leg. This season he has had problems with his knee but it looks like the fourth line center is ready to return. He does not have any fantasy value but it is certainly is nice to see Mitchell back in the lineup.

Torrey Mitchell (knee) will not play on Wednesday.
Mitchell recently returned to the minors from a conditioning stint. He was on the ice Wednesday morning, but he'll have to wait at least one more game before he returns to the lineup. Mitchell hasn't played in an NHL game since May 4th, 2008.
