Torrey Mitchell is finally getting comfortable playing hockey after missing 108 games in the last season-and-a-half.
Mitchell has played the last 15 games in a row for the Sharks and actually saw some action with Joe Thornton and Patrick Marleau on the top line on Thursday. "We're 15 games in, and I'm feeling a lot better than I did five games in," Mitchell said. "Hopefully, if I continue to do that, I'll continue to gain (coach) Todd's (McLellan) trust. I'm an energy player. Scoring goals is obviously a big boost, but so is a big hit, a big forecheck." Mitchell would gain a lot of fantasy value on the Thornton line but look for Dany Heatley to reappear quickly. Source: San Jose Mercury News
