Mark Fistric is scheduled to undergo arthroscopic surgery on his injured knee.
The surgery will cause Fistric to miss the Stars' last three games before the Olympic break, but he might be able to return on March 2nd. He has eight points and 43 penalty minutes in 48 games this season.

Mark Fistric did not play on Saturday because of a lower-body injury.
He suffered the ailment on Thursday in Columbus and is considered day-to-day. Jeff Woywitka dressed on the Stars' blueline in his place.

Mark Fistric was fined $2,500 for throwing a helmet at Eric Nystrom during a fight.
Fistric took off Nystrom's helmet during a fight and when trying to let go, hit Nystrom with his own helmet. Fistric received a match penalty for the incident but was not suspended. "Anyone who knows me knows that's only the third fight in a long time," Fistric said. "Obviously it was not what I wanted to do. I meant no harm to Eric, and I was glad that he came back and was fine."

Mark Fistric (concussion) was activated from the IL on Thursday December 31.
Fistric was a plus-two in his return after missing five games with a concussion. Fistric is a solid defensive defenseman who has only one goal and four points this season so he has no fantasy value.

Mark Fistric (concussion) could be back in the Dallas lineup on Thursday.
Fistric has missed the last five games with the concussion injury. The Stars returned Maxime Fortunus to the minors, clearing the way for Fistric's return. Fistric no fantasy value with only four points in 30 games.

Both Trevor Daley (shoulder) and Mark Fistric (concussion) could return to the Dallas lineup on Tuesday.
Daley is more likely to play as he is probable, while Fistric is still questionable with his concussion. Stay tuned as both players will help the Stars defensively.
