The Flyers have returned David Laliberte to the Phantoms of the AHL.
He filled in for the injured Daniel Briere and did a very good job scoring twice and registering an assist in four games. With Briere once again healthy, there was no room for Laliberte on the roster despite his short-term success. He will be back though.

David Laliberte has scored a goal in each of his first two NHL games.
Laliberte is the first Philadelphia player to do that since Eric Lindros. He was initially called up to replace Simon Gagne, who is out for six-to-eight weeks. Laliberte is currently playing on the Flyers' top line with Jeff Carter and James van Riemsdyk. He has some fantasy value as long as Philadelphia keeps him on one of their top two lines.
