Oskars Bartulis has a plus-five plus/minus rating over his last five games.
It's a small sample size, but Bartulis might be starting to turn things around after being a team-worst minus-17 just a couple weeks ago. "He's done a good job, and Kevin's done a good job of putting him in the right situations and in the right spots against the right people," said coach Peter Laviolette, who was referring to assistant coach Kevin McCarthy. "He has a lot of upside. He skates well, and he seems to know the game pretty well." |
