The Flames have signed Garth Murray to a contract.
Terms of the deal weren't released. Murray had no points in 10 games with the Coyotes last season. He collected 11 goals and 21 points in 64 games in the AHL last season. Murray is a depth player for the organization and will spend most of his time in the minors. The Flames also signed minor leaguer Riley Armstrong to a contract - no terms were released for him either. Source: Canadian Press
