 Scott Niedermayer-D- DucksNov. 13 - 6:13 am et
Ducks general manager Bob Murray put the kibosh to a rumor that Scott Niedermayer may end up back in New Jersey this season to be reunited with his brother Rob.
"He's going to retire a Duck when he chooses to retire," Murray said after comments surfaced in the Newark (N.J.) Star-Ledger that Niedermayer said that a deal to the Devils is "a possibility." We'll see what happens.

 Corey Perry-W - Ducks Nov. 8 - 1:14 am et

Corey Perry scored a goal in Anaheim’s 4-3 win over Phoenix Saturday night.
With the goal, Perry extended his point streak to eight games. He has seven goals and 12 points in that time. Overall, he has 11 goals and 19 points on the year. Teemu Selanne, Bobby Ryan and Mike Brown rounded out the scoring for the Ducks. Scott Niedermayer chipped in with a pair of helpers in the win.
 Brendan Mikkelson-D - Ducks Oct. 27 - 7:59 am et

The improving play of defenseman Brendan Mikkelson has impressed coach Randy Carlyle.
"He's continued to show development and we've been able to trust him," said the Ducks' bench boss. "If there's one bright spot on our back end with our grouping back there, [it's that] Brendan Mikkelson has developed now into what we think is an everyday NHL player. And that's critical." Mikkelson's emergence since being recalled from the minors was surely a deciding factor in returning Luca Sbisa to the junior ranks. He has been playing on the team's top defense pair with Scott Niedermayer.
