Mathieu Perreault (flu) will return to the Washington lineup on Friday.
Pereault has two goals and six points in 16 games this season. He has limited, if any, fantasy value at this time as he is the Caps third line center.

Mathieu Perreault is questionable for Wednesday's game with what he thinks is food poisoning.
Perreault has two goals and six points in 16 games this season. He's been serving as the Capitals' third line center and he's not likely to have much fantasy value in that role.

Mike Knuble led the way for the Caps with four points in Washingtons 7-4 win over Florida Saturday night.
Knuble scored twice and added two assists. Tomas Fleischmann also potted two goals. Brooks Laich, Quintin Laing and Mathieu Perreault had Washington's other goals. The Capitals scored five times in the final 20 minutes.

The Washington Capitals have recalled Mathieu Perreault from the AHL.
Perreault will probably make his NHL debut on Wednesday. He's tentatively projected to serve as the Capitals' third line center.

Mathieu Perreault scored the game winner 4:48 into overtime in Washington's 3-2 win over Chicago.
Kyle Wilson and Chris Clark each had a goal and an assist helping the Caps cement the come from behind victory over the Blackhawks Saturday night. Oskar Osala, Tom Poti and Shaone Morrisonn each had helpers in Washington's win. Patrick Sharp and Jack Skille had Chicago's markers and Duncan Keith had two assists on the night. Michal Neuvirth made 24 saves for the Capitals, shutting down Chicago's lethal offense. Cristobal Huet stopped 27 of 30 shots in the loss.
