Victor Hedman is expected to play on Tuesday night despite being lacerated by a skate in Sunday's game against the Capitals.
He was cut on his left thigh, above his knee, and the wound required eight to 10 stitches to close, but he was able to return to the game. "It's going to hurt a little, but I want to play a lot and get my confidence back," he said. "This is no time to rest." The rookie defender has failed to record a point in his last eight games and he owns a minus-4 rating over that span as well. |
