James van Riemsdyk potted the winning goal for the Flyers, in their 3-2 win over Los Angeles Wednesday night.
Mika Pyorala scored his first NHL goal. Mike Richards buried his ninth of the season. Brayden Coburn led all Flyers with two assists on the night and trailed only Chris Pronger with 22:45 minutes of ice time in the victory.

Chris Pronger has two goals and nine points in a six game point streak.
Pronger is fourth in the league in defensive scoring with 17 points in 16 games. He is also second in the league in plus-minus with a +13 rating, behind defensive partner Matt Carle at +17. The 35-year-old play hasn't slipped despite his age.

Jeff Carter scored a shorthanded goal in the third period and assisted as Philadelphia lost to the Buffalo Sabres 3-2.
Carter has racked up four points in his last two games. Chris Pronger scored the other Flyers' goal. Daniel Briere, Mike Richards and Kimmo Timonen recorded assists.

Daniel Briere netted two goals in 5-1 win over Ottawa in his return to the Flyers' lineup on Thursday.
It was Briere's first game since Oct. 27 due to groin/quad muscle strain. Jeff Carter, Chris Pronger and Kimmo Timonen contributed a pair of assist apiece in the victory, while Blair Betts, James van Riemsdyk and Darroll Powe scored the other Philly goals in the contest.

Chris Pronger is the NHL's third star of the week.
Pronger scored a goal and registered four assists in three games last week. He's been everything the Flyers hoped he'd be so far. He has 14 points, a plus-11 plus/minus rating, and 22 penalty minutes in 14 games this season.

Daniel Carcillo scored twice to lead the Flyers to a 5-2 win over the Sabres Friday night.
Carcillo was terrific taking a game-high seven shots on goal and recording a plus three rating. Chris Pronger scored a goal and added a helper, while Ian Laperriere registered two assists in the victory. Impressive rookie James van Riemsdyk scored his third goal of the campaign, while Darroll Powe also scored for Philly.
