Matthew Lombardi had a career night as he scored two goals and added three assists as the Phoenix Coyotes dominated Edmonton 6-1 Monday night.
Lombardi's five-point effort gives him 40 on the year. Robert Lang scored a goal and recorded two assists in the victory, while Jim Vandermeer added a goal and a helper. Radim Vrbata and Ed Jovanovski potted the other tallies for the Desert Dogs.

Lauri Korpikoski scored both Phoenix goals in a 4-2 loss to Washington Saturday night.
The 23-year old Finn doubled his goal total for the season, giving him four markers and three assists in 42 games for the Coyotes. Robert Lang finished the game with two helpers.

Matthew Lombardi scored the Coyotes' lone goal in a 4-1 loss to the Red Wings Saturday night.
Lombardi's goal was his seventh of the season, giving him 25 points in 39 games this season. Robert Lang and Keith Yandle assisted on the marker.

Scottie Upshall scored the game-winning goal as the Phoenix Coyotes defeated Anaheim 4-0 Wednesday.
This was Upshall's 13th goal of the season, and he has registered five points in his last two games. Martin Hanzal, Taylor Pyatt, and Robert Lang also scored for the Coyotes. Lang scored on a power play in the third period. Peter Mueller, who has been in a season long slump, picked up two assists.

Robert Lang scored the eventual winner in the Coyotes 2-1 victory over the Sharks Saturday.
It was his seventh of the season that was assisted by Taylor Pyatt. Radim Vrbata scored the other Phoenix goal, which came on the power-play.

Keith Yandle had a goal in the Coyote's 2-1 loss to Calgary.
