Sheldon Souray suffered a broken hand in Saturday's 6-1 loss to Calgary.
Coach Pat Quinn said the team will have more news regarding his status on Sunday. Souray was injured during a fight with Flames' captain Jarome Iginla early in the third period. Now the Oilers, who are already missing their number one goalie (Nikolai Khabibulin) and their top forward (Ales Hemsky), may have to try to halt a 13-game winless skid without one of their better defensemen. When it rains, it pours. Or in Edmonton's case it monsoons. Stay tuned. |
