 Patrick Lalime-G- SabresFeb. 7 - 12:37 am et
Patrick Lalime allowed four goals from 25 shots which resulted in his third loss of the season.
Lalime is now win-less in his last three starts and is certainly not exuding any confidence for that the Sabres could rely on him when giving Ryan Miller some rest. Lalime has a career .905 save percentage which probably isn't impressive enough for the Sabres to keep him after this season. His job as the Sabres backup goalie could be in jeopardy if they can manage to get their hands on a replacement come deadline time.

 Patrick Lalime-G - Sabres Feb. 6 - 9:56 am et

Look for Patrick Lalime to get the start against the Blue Jackets on Saturday.
It will be his first start in eight games. Lalime, who will be looking for his 200th career win, last played on January 19th against the Ducks when he was pulled after allowing four goals in the first period.

Patrick Lalime got a rare start but only lasted 10:26 into the first period before being pulled after allowing four goals on 11 shots in Buffalo's 5-4 loss to Anaheim on Tuesday.
Lalime has been an adequate backup to Ryan Miller, who naturally doesn't see a lot of ice time. He may see a bit more time down the stretch as Buffalo tries to rest Miller who will be leaned heavily on, not only by the Sabres, but by the American Olympic team.

Patrick Lalime blocked 27 of 30 Colorado shots he faced in the Sabres' 4-3 shootout loss Saturday night.
Lalime made his fifth start since Dec. 11, after seeing action in just three games throughout the opening two months of the season. The Sabres’ backup allowed nine goals while losing his first two starts, but is 3-0-2 over his past four, and has allowed just eight goals in those contests. With Lalime proving he can hold the fort, Buffalo can afford to give a little more rest to their star goaltender Ryan Miller, who will start for Team USA in the Olympics next month.

Patrick Lalime will get the start Saturday against the Avalanche.
Ryan Miller will get a well-deserved rest after stopping 48 of 50 shots against Toronto Friday night in the Sabres' 3-2 victory. If Lalime manages a win against Colorado it will be the 200th of his NHL career.
