Elias was out since January 16 after suffering a concussion. He looked good on a line with Ilya Kovalchuk and Dainius Zubrus. He had one assist in 22:35 of ice time. Activate him immediately.

Danius Zubrus scored the lone tally for the Devils on Saturday night.
Zubrus potted his fifth goal of the season but it was not enough as the Devils fell to the Rangers. He spent over 76 percent of tonight's shifts alongside both Ilya Kovalchuk and Patrik Elias. With that much ice-time alongside two superstar players, Zubrus' fantasy value will skyrocket for the remainder of the season. If you are looking for a great late-season addition, definitely move Zubrus to the top of your list. Kovalchuk continued his old ways as he registered eight SOG in tonight's contest. Elias picked up the lone assist on Zubrus' goal.

Patrik Elias will not play Saturday against the Rangers.
He still has only one practice under his belt since sustaining a concussion and the Devils won't rush him back, especially now that they have Ilya Kovalchuk in the house.

Patrik Elias (concussion) is doubtful for Friday's game.
Elias participated in his first practice with the Devils Thursday since sustaining the injury on January 16th. He said he felt good, but he got pretty tired and he left the practice after 45 minutes. Elias didn't want to rule out the possibility of him playing on Friday, but coach Jacques Lemaire said he's "not ready."

Patrik Elias (concussion) returned to practice Thursday.
It was his first practice since being knocked into the netherworld by Colorado's Ryan Wilson on January 16. He is very close to returning to the lineup.

According to GM Lou Lamoriello, Patrik Elias (concussion) should practice with the Devils "soon."
Elias hasn't played since he sustained the concussion on January 16th, but Lamoriello expects him to return to the Devils lineup before the Olympic break. Elias is also still expected to play fot the Czech Republic in the Winter Games.
