Look for Dwayne Roloson to get the start Saturday against St.Louis.
We were actually surprised that Roloson did not get the start Friday night against his former club, Minnesota. Given that Martin Biron played in Friday's contest, we expect Roloson to get the call against the Blues.

Martin Biron turned aside 26 of the 29 Minnesota shots he faced in the Islanders 3-2 loss Friday evening.
The loss gives Biron a dreadful 2-6-2 record this season. He's not making a strong case to be traded to a playoff contender. That said, look for coach Scott Gordon to give Biron a few more chances to establish a positive trade value.

Martin Biron will be in goal for the Islanders on Friday against the Wild.
Biron has posted a 2-5-2 record this season on Long Island with a .913 save percentage and a 2.83 goals-against average. New York plays again on Saturday night and it is likely Dwayne Roloson will start that game versus the Blues.

The Islanders have been splitting goaltending duties pretty evenly between Biron and Dwayne Roloson so far this season. Biron has a 2-5-2 record with a 2.83 GAA and .913 save percentage this season.

Martin Biron made 25 saves in a 4-3 overtime win against the Hurricanes in NHL action Friday evening.
