Sergei Gonchar missed Saturday's game against the Lightning with a bruised foot.
Gonchar took a shot off his skate Wednesday against the Devils. He's listed as day-to-day and was replaced in the lineup by Jay McKee.

Jay McKee (finger) is expected to play in Monday's game versus the New York Rangers.
McKee missed six consecutive games due to an injured finger. He has five points and 42 penalty minutes in 21 games this season.

McKee was sidelined November 18 with an infected finger. He was cleared to return on the weekend and if his wind is good enough, he will likely play

It appears that Alex Goligoski is set to return to action.
He has missed the last month with a leg injury. It is very likely that Goligoski will be in the Penguin lineup against the Rangers on Saturday as the club returned defensemen Deryk Engelland and Ben Lovejoy to the minors on Friday. Of course it is possible that Jay McKee is also set to return to action. We might wait to see Goligoski play in a game before activating him.

Jay McKee will be back in the lineup within days, according to coach Dan Bylsma.
McKee was slated to be lost for two-to-four weeks with an infected finger. That was nine days ago. He won't play Friday, but could be back as early as Saturday.
