 Daymond Langkow-C - Flames Feb. 6 - 8:08 am et

Daymond Langkow will play in his 1000th game on Saturday.
Langkow is the Flames second player in two days to reach the magic mark as Jarome Iginla did it on Friday night. Langkow will play against the Tampa Bay Lightning, the team he was drafted in the first round by, in 1995. Langkow has slipped the last two seasons in fantasy value as he had only 49 points in 2008-09, the first time he was under the 50 point mark since the 1998-99 season and is on a similar pace this season with only 32 points in 58 games. That being said, we congratulate Langkow on reaching the 1000 game milestone.

 Jarome Iginla-W - Flames Feb. 5 - 6:32 am et

Jarome Iginla will play in his 1,000th NHL game on Friday.
The superstar forward has played his whole career with the Calgary Flames, but was drafted by the Dallas Stars before being traded for Joe Nieuwendyk. Iginla has 433 goals and 903 points in his career. Congratulations to Jarome on the milestone.

 Matthew Stajan-C - Flames Feb. 4 - 6:34 am et

Matt Stajan is starting to click with Jarome Iginla on the Flames top line.
Stajan was traded from Toronto earlier in the week and immediately placed on the Flames top line with Niklas Hagman and Iginla. "I'm looking to pass the puck," Stajan said. "That's my first option. Complement the other guys. With players like Haggy and Jarome, you just want to get them the puck. I'll get some goals, driving to the net. But first and foremost, I want the puck on one of their sticks. With either one of those guys, that's a pretty good place for it." Stajan got the winner on Wednesday on a nice feed from Iginla, but look for things to go the other way the rest of the season as Iginla will start sniping some goals with Stajan feeding him.

 Robyn Regehr-D - Flames Feb. 3 - 7:24 am et

General manager Darryl Sutter held one-on-one meetings with Calgary veterans Robyn Regehr, Jarome Iginla and Daymond Langkow on Tuesday.
When asked what the meetings entailed, Regehr responded, "What do you think? Not a visit you look forward to. He's not a happy man. And he has every right to be unhappy. The way we've played for a while ... it's just not nearly good enough. In pro sports, if you don't win, there are going to be consequences. The message? Pretty clear: Get going." Calgary has just one win in their last 11 games going into Wednesday's match-up with the Hurricanes.

Despite Calgary's makeover, which has seen six new faces come to town in a pair of trades, it doesn't appear as though general manager Darryl Sutter is done altering his lineup.
"I think what we did this week gives us some flexibility on our payroll now and moving forward," Sutter said. "I think we just have to see how it plays out. When you do it on paper, now it's a pretty good mix. Now the responsibility becomes that of the player itself. Time is not necessarily on our side." Stay tuned to see what the Flames do on deadline day or perhaps even before then.
