Tomas Vokoun allowed three goals on 29 shots in the Panthers 4-1 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes Tuesday night.
Despite losing four straight, Vokoun is putting up the best numbers of his career. Entering Tuesday night's action, he had an incredible .931 save percentage and a league leading seven shutouts, tied with New Jersey's Martin Brodeur.

Tomas Vokoun was unable to steal a win for the Panthers as they fell to the Thrashers 4-2 on Saturday night.
Vokoun stopped 31 of the 34 shots that he faced but it was not enough as he was saddled with his 19th loss of the season. He is now leading the league with 1503 saves on the season. His .931 save percentage also ranks amongst the best in the league. His career April numbers of 2.30 and .924 should certainly bode well for owners in head-to-head leagues during the playoffs. If you can make a push to acquiring Vokoun, definitely do so.

Tomas Vokoun may start in back-to-back games this weekend.
He was in goal for Friday night's 2-1 loss to Calgary but has a tremendous record (2-0-1 witha 1.86 goals against average and .935 save perentage) against Saturday's opponent, Atlanta. Stay tuned for further updates.

Tomas Vokoun made 38 saves in the Panthers 2-1 loss to the Flames Friday night.
Vokoun had no help from the offense. The Panthers could only muster just 13 shots on net.

Tomas Vokoun was outplayed by his counterpart in the Panthers' 3-0 loss to the Ducks Monday night.
He stopped 22 of the 25 shots he faced in the contest. He's really starting to show how good of a goaltender he is as he was named the NHL's third star of the month recording four shutouts in January. He is tied for most goose eggs in the NHL goaltenders with seven this season.

Tomas Vokoun has earned the NHL's third star of the month.
If the Panthers find a way to squeak into the playoffs, Vokoun will be the reason why. He's been amazing all season, but he took that to another level in January with a 1.49 GAA and .956 save percentage in 14 starts. He earned four shutouts last month en route to tying Florida's franchise records for shutouts in a single season with seven.
