Hal Gill was back in the Montreal lineup Friday against his former club, the Bruins.
He had missed 14 games with a broken foot. Gill's return allowed coach Jacques Martin to spot defenseman Marc-Andre Bergeron as a winger on the fourth line. Bergeron also played in his usual spot on the Habs' power play. Gill does not do enough of anything to be fantasy worthy.

Hal Gill (healthy scratch) may be back in the Montreal lineup on Friday.
He has missed 14 games because of a broken foot and watched Thursday's game from the press box. Gill said it will be up to coach Jacques Martin if he dresses against Boston, but was optimistic about his chances.

Hal Gill (foot) has returned to active duty, but will be a healthy scratch on Thursday.
He has been out of action since Halloween with a broken foot. He has little fantasy value as he does have 31 penalty minutes in 14 games, but has only one goal and no assists with a minus-three rating.

Hal Gill (foot) has been cleared to resume active duty and could be back in the Canadiens' lineup by the end of the week.
The hulking blueliner has been out with a broken foot since October 31st. Gill has 31 penalty minutes and a minus-3 rating in 14 games with Montreal this season.

Hal Gill will be sidelined for two to three weeks because of a hairline fracture in his foot.
Blueliner Mathieu Carle will probably continue to play as long as Gill is sidelined. We'll keep you posted.

Mathieu Carle will make his NHL debut on Tuesday night versus the Thrashers.
He will start the game with Marc-Andre Bergeron, but coach Jacques Martin said the pairings could be changed during the game. Carle was called up on Tuesday to replace Hal Gill, who is out with a leg injury, in the lineup.
