Sheldon Souray has reportedly provided the Edmonton Oilers with a list of six teams he'd waive his no-trade clause to play for.
Edmonton would like to trade Souray before the March 3rd deadline, but that may not be possible now that he's undergone surgery to repair a broken hand. Souray is expected to be out until mid-March, which might significantly hinder his trade value. However, if the Oilers can pull off a trade with Anaheim, Dallas, Los Angeles, Washington, Philadelphia or the New York Rangers, it is believed that Souray will agree to the deal. |
