JS Giguere allowed three goals on 26 shots in Toronto's 3-2 loss to the San Jose Sharks on Monday night.
Dan Boyle broke Giguere's shutout streak with his new club at 143:17, scoring 3:17 into the second period. Giguere still had a nice night overall, and has been excellent since the move to Toronto. It's anyone's guess if he can keep this up on one of the worst teams in the NHL this year.

Dan Boyle returned to the Sharks' lineup on Saturday from an upper-body injury.
He had missed the previous six games and San Jose dressed seven defensemen against the Predators due to Boyle's return and because of the absence of forward Manny Malhotra (lower body). Boyle played 19:10 of ice time in the Sharks' 4-3 win over Nashville, while registering two shots on goal and a minus-1 rating. Activate him if you have not done so already.

Dan Boyle (upper body) will not play in Thursday's contest against St. Louis.
It will be the sixth straight game Boyle has missed due to an upper body injury. He has 10 goals and 43 points in 51 games this season.

Boyle traveled with the Sharks to St. Louis, so that's a good start. Boyle has missed the last five games with the upper body injury. Stay tuned as Boyle was a top-five fantasy defenseman before the injury.

Derek Joslin has been returned to the minors.
He has skated in the past two games for San Jose. Joslin could be recalled if Dan Boyle remains on the sidelines with an upper-body injury.

Dan Boyle (upper body) is being listed as a game-time decision for Tuesday's contest, but it doesn't seem likely he will play.
He was the last player off the ice at the Sharks' morning skate and defensemen Jason Demers and Derek Joslin are back up from Worcester to fill in again on the blueline.
