NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said Tuesday that the players suspended as part of the StarCaps case will be available for Week 1 games.
The Players' Association is appealing the four-games suspensions. The Saints defense will be at full strength for their matchup against Matthew Stafford and the Lions, who will now have Grady Jackson available. The Vikings will also have the Williams Wall intact against the Browns, which makes them one of the top fantasy defenses this week.

Lions DT Grady Jackson is still facing a possible suspension for violating the league's drug policy last season after testing positive for a banned diuretic.
Roger Goodell said a decision on Jackson's appeal will come within the next couple of weeks. Even at age 36 and a shell of his former self, Jackson would be some help for the Lions' problematic run defense.

Lions DT Grady Jackson and Lions WR Bryant Johnson opened camp on the NFL list for non-football injuries and illnesses.
Johnson has an "undisclosed health problem" that is apparently unrelated to his knee injury. Jackson signed a big deal this offseason, but he hasn't practiced a lick since. Counting on him to play a big role is risky business for Detroit.

Lions DT Grady Jackson (knee) has yet to begin practicing.
Jackson was signed to a three-year, $8 million contract in March. He's behind on his recovery from knee surgery, however, and hasn't partcitipated in any on-field workouts with the team. Oh, and he's still awaiting word on a possible four-game StarCaps suspension.

Lions DT Grady Jackson is behind schedule in his recovery from knee surgery, says coach Jim Schwartz.
The 36-year-old Jackson underwent surgery in February and has yet to participate in on-field workouts with the team. Jackson is expected to get back on the field for training camp, but he's still in danger of missing four games for his StarCaps suspension.
