Rex Hadnot started at right guard in place of Floyd "Pork Chop" Womack on Sunday.
Hadnot may have nailed down the starting job in August, but he was behind the eight ball after suffering a torn MCL in training camp. Even if he's a modest upgrade, it won't be enough to turn Jamal Lewis into a relevant fantasy player.

Browns G/C Rex Hadnot (knee) returned to practice on Monday.
Hadnot's torn MCL cost him nearly all of camp and likely any shot to start the season opener. He'll be backing up Eric Steinbach and Floyd Womack.

The Browns reportedly learned Saturday that OG Rex Hadnot's knee injury is a torn MCL, not a torn ACL as previously believed.
Doctors originally told Hadnot that the ACL was torn, but they changed the diagnosis after further testing. The injury has likely ruined Hadnot's chances of nailing down a starting job, but the good news is that the versatile lineman has a chance to return by Week 1.

The knee injury suffered by Browns OG Rex Hadnot during Thursday's practice is reportedly a torn ACL.
The Browns, as predicted, are being secretive about the injury. Hadnot is expected to miss the entire season, which leaves Ryan Tucker and Pork Chop Womack to battle for the right guard job. The injury may also save Hank Fraley from the chopping block.

Browns OG Rex Hadnot was carted off the field Thursday with what's believed to be a serious knee injury.
Scout.com reports that Hadnot "blew out" the knee and appeared to be in severe pain. Hadnot had been penciled in as the starting right guard. Ryan Tucker and Pork Chop Womack would be options to replace him if the injury is serious.

Rex Hadnot has consistently practiced with the Browns' first-team offensive line this spring.
Hadnot practiced at both guard spots and center and is expected to start, though it's unclear where he'll open the year. He started 15 games at right guard last season. At 6'2/320, Hadnot fits Cleveland's new power approach.
