Colts placed SLB Tyjuan Hagler on injured reserve with a torn biceps muscle, ending his season.
Philip Wheeler and Ramon Humber are next on the depth chart, but Wheeler figures to get the nod because of his blitzing abilities. Hagler, a free agent in the offseason, sees his season end with just 26 tackles in seven games.

Colts SLB Tyjuan Hagler left Sunday's game in the fourth quarter with an elbow injury and did not return.
Hagler joined CB Kelvin Hayden (concussion, knee) on the sidelines. The Colts aren't expected to update the status of either player until Wednesday at the earliest.

Wheeler has more ability than Hagler, particularly as a blitzer, but the Colts will lean towards Hagler's experience. This isn't a good position for IDP.

The Texans need depth at linebacker with DeMeco Ryans sitting out spring drills. Hagler likely wouldn't be a serious candidate to start in Houston.

The Texans have expressed interest in free agent LBs Buster Davis and Tyjuan Hagler.
Their price tags figure to be cheaper than Cato June's, who Houston hosted for a visit on Wednesday. Davis was cut by Indianapolis earlier this week. Hagler can play special teams and either outside linebacker position.
