Calvin Johnson caught eight passes for 84 yards in Sunday's loss to the Vikings.
Johnson's knee looked completely fine. He did take a shot over the middle in the second half and may have had the wind knocked out of him, but he didn't miss any plays. The Vikings had a safety on top of Johnson all day and prevented any huge plays, but it's an encouraging game for Megatron's owners.

Calvin Johnson (knee) has resumed practicing in full.
One Lions beat writer speculated in a Wednesday morning column that Calvin's knee was still an issue in Week 9, but we watched the game and he had plenty of zip on his routes. He'll be worth starting as a WR2 at Minnesota.

Calvin Johnson's knee still seemed to be bothering him in Week 9, according to Brian VanOchten of the Grand Rapids Press.
VanOchten says Johnson slipped on the Seattle turf before the game and proceeded to "stretch out that leg." Johnson finished the game with just two catches and was visibly frustrated on a number of occasions. Even if Calvin's knee is still banged up, it's impossible to bench him. He will almost certainly start and should see a ton of targets against the Vikings this week.

Calvin Johnson assured reporters Monday that there is no rift between him and Matthew Stafford, despite an awkward sideline exchange in Sunday's loss.
Stafford approached Johnson during the game in an obvious attempt to communicate, but was completely ignored by the wide receiver. "There's no problem with us, people are just blowing it out of proportion," Johnson said. "If we win, all of that's out the window." Expect the Lions to base their game plan on getting Johnson the ball in Week 10 at Minnesota.

Lions coach Jim Schwartz doesn't believe that Calvin Johnson's knee injury was cause for his slow Week 9.
Johnson saw nine targets, but caught just two for 27 yards. "He was able to go out and be effective. He had a couple of chances to make plays downfield," Schwartz said. "He's not 100 percent but he's getting there." Calvin has topped 100 yards in a game just once this year. Detroit visits Minnesota next.

Calvin Johnson caught just two passes for 27 yards in Week 9.
Johnson saw nine targets and was often forced to dive for balls thrown away from him by an erratic Matthew Stafford. At one point on the sideline, Stafford could be seen trying to talk to the upset wideout, but Calvin completely ignored him. The duo is too talented for this to keep up going forward.
