Ledezma was designated for assignment 10 days ago by the Nats and received zero interest from other clubs. He posted a 9.53 ERA in 5 2/3 innings to start the season and isn't likely to be recalled until he shows some ability to get batters out.

Nationals purchased the contracts of RHP Wilfredo Ledezma, RHP Julian Tavarez and C Josh Bard.
Lezezma had made a strong case for a spot by posting a 1.69 ERA in 10 2/3 innings this spring, but outside of 2006, he's never thrown enough strikes to be a useful major league pitcher.
