Jeremy Hermida (oblique) might not return before the end of the season.
He suffered a right oblique strain on September 2 and hasn't engaged in baseball-related activities since. "We've done as much as we can for it. It's unfortunately one of those injuries you can't really rush," Hermida said Thursday. "Unfortunately with an oblique, when you run, you feel it. When you swing a bat, you feel it." Cameron Maybin has already benefited from the absence and will continue to draw starts in center field. Source: Marlins.mlb.com
