Luol Deng had 20 points and eight rebounds in Friday's loss to the Hawks.
It's tough to tell he has a thumb injury, as he continues to play well for the Bulls. Derrick Rose added 19 points, six dimes and a couple sweet dunks on the night, but the Hawks put them away late. Why Rose isn't in the dunk contest remains one of the great NBA mysteries of the season.

Derrick Rose had 30 points, nine assists, four rebounds and a trey in Wednesday's OT loss to the Sixers.
Rose's game continues to impress, but he once again had zero steals or blocks. The 3-pointer he hit is a bonus and until he starts getting those categories, he'll be a big step below the elite fantasy point guard options.

Derrick Rose, having been selected as an All-Star reserve, has been excused from playing in the 2010 T-Mobile Rookie Challenge & Youth Jam.
Rose will be replaced by Warriors guard Anthony Morrow. In addition, the Chicago guard will also face-off against Steve Nash, Brandon Jennings, and Deron Williams in the Taco Bell Skills Challenge.

Rajon Rondo, Deron Williams and Derrick Rose have been selected as All-Stars for the first time, according to Yahoo! Sports.
It's a well-deserved honor for all three young point guards, each of whom have their respective teams in the playoffs. Al Horford (13.6 points, 9.8 rebounds) got the nod over David Lee (19.4 points, 11.4 boards) in the East, but there were no true snubs in the West. Besides Rondo, Rose and Horford, the East reserves are Chris Bosh, Paul Pierce, Gerald Wallace and Joe Johnson. Other than Williams, the West reserves are Chris Paul, Pau Gasol, Kevin Durant, Zach Randolph, Dirk Nowitzki and Brandon Roy.

He's playing through a painful foot injury, but looked great tonight. Go ahead and keep him active. Derrick Rose added 26 points and seven assists in this one.

Rose is joined by Miami Heat forward Michael Beasley, Los Angeles Clippers guard Eric Gordon, Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love, New Jersey Nets center Brook Lopez, New York Knicks forward Danilo Gallinari, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook, and Memphis Grizzlies duo, center Marc Gasol and guard O.J. Mayo.
