Lamar Odom missed practice on Tuesday because he had a precautionary MRI/CAT scan on his right foot.
The results of the MRI were negative and he's listed as "probable" for Wednesday. We hate to see the letters MRI associated with anyone, but the Lakers don't seem too concerned and you shouldn't be either right now. With Andrew Bynum and Kobe out, Odom is a fantasy stud.

The Lakers will play without both Kobe Bryant (sprained left ankle) and Andrew Bynum (bruised right hip) vs. the Spurs on Monday.
An MRI revealed nothing worse than a sprain, and Kobe is questionable for L.A.'s final game before the All-Star break, Wednesday at Utah. Lamar Odom will start at PF on Monday, moving Pau Gasol to center.

Lamar Odom tied a career-high with 22 rebounds in Saturday's 99-82 win over the Blazers, and also added 10 points on 4-of-9 shooting with six assists, one steal, and one block.
Andrew Bynum played just nine minutes after suffering a hip contusion, which opened the door for this type of effort. Like Ron Artest, who scored 21 points tonight, Odom should be sold high between now and the time Bynum and Kobe Bryant (ankle) returns.

Lamar Odom came off the bench for 19 points on 8-for-10 shooting, seven rebounds and three assists in just 27 minutes Wednesday.
The finger Odom sprained on Monday was a non-issue. We can't expect much more than 30 minutes nightly for Lamar, but he's still worth hanging on to. If Kobe Bryant or Ron Artest decide to take a few games off, Odom will be a beast.

Lamar Odom needs just eight assists to become the seventh-fastest player in NBA history to reach 6,000 rebounds and 3,000 assists.
If he doesn’t set the record against Charlotte Wednesday but does it the next game against Denver on Friday, he’ll tie Elgin Baylor for seventh-fastest, taking 716 games to get there. Odom would be in unique company if he attains the record, as the other six names include Larry Bird, Chris Webber, Kevin Garnett, Oscar Robertson, Wilt Chamberlain, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Lamar Odom sprained his right index finger late in the third quarter on Monday, though he was able to continue playing.
He had four points, nine rebounds, four assists and two steals in 37 minutes, all while battling foul trouble. The injury clearly bothered him down the stretch though, so double-check his the status before Wednesday's game vs. the Bobcats.
